What’s an easy fix for low self-esteem?


 First of all we need to understand where this self esteem is coming from. Most of the time, the important factor that causes low self esteem is the belief we carry.

Belief is a combination of our understanding about ourselves, people and the world in general. Here very important factor is our understanding about ourselves. I would really like you to find out about this. What’s your understanding about your own selves.

Our beliefs are formed mostly by our experiences, what we have heard about self from others, especially during our growth years from childhood till adulthood. It is responsible to the formation of our beliefs. These experiences are stored in our sub conscious mind and become the part of our belief system.

The good thing about belief is that it is not there by birth. We acquires it. It is something which is learned and hence we can unlearn it.

If you are possibly thinking low about self, its coming from this belief.

One has to challenge our own beliefs if they are not helping us. As you challenge it by replacing it with those which will help us.

For instance, if you are attempting to take part in a competition and your belief says that you cant or are incompetent, you need to challenge your belief by saying to your self, that i can try just like others are trying their best.

Only by consistently practicing challenging our own beliefs, we can deal with our low self esteem.
